• 1. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh
• 2. Applicant must be a destitute.
• 3. Applicant should not be a service pensioner / family pensioner.(Ex-gratia family pension/NPS of up to Rs.4000 is excluded.)
• 4. Eligible for one more pension, if the person is in receipt of any other Social Welfare pensions.(Maximum of two pension including EPF)
• 5. The applicant should not be an income tax payer
• 6. No person shall be eligible if he/she resorts to habitual begging.
• 7. The applicant/family should not own more than two acres. ( Scheduled tribe is excluded )
• 8. Applicant is not eligible if the person is admitted to a poor home.
• 9. Applicant should not own/in family non-taxi, four or more wheeled vehicles (except Ambassador car) with engine capacity of more than 1000 cc
• 10. Can apply to the local body of permanent residence
• 11. Applicant should not be a recipient of salary / pension / family pension from Central Government / other State Governments.
• 12. Submit medical certificate of disability/Identity Card Issued By Social Security Mission.
• 13. Applicant should not be a retiree from Central / State Public Sector Undertakings and a recipient of Pension / Family Pension
• 14. No Age limit
• 15. Applicant should not be an applicant /Benificiery of two different local bodies
• 16. Applicant not be the owner / resident of the building more than 2000 Sq Ft

i. Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension (75 Years Above) - Rs 1500
ii. Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (Disability 80% Above) - Rs 1100
